POSITION
Summary:
To ensure timely and accurate follow-up to claims that have been denied, have not been adjudicated or have been overpaid by our third-party payers.
To provide timely and accurate reporting on trends or issues regarding payers, CPT/HCPCS codes, and DX codes.
JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
Work all denials received to ensure timely follow-up, appeals and rebills File claims to secondary/tertiary payers with appropriate documentation Work assigned AR for outstanding accounts for resolution Work assigned payer credit report for resolution to overpayments from payers Maintain write off log to report to management for approval Assist with questions regarding client accounts Report any trending or payer issues to management Maintain payer websites, stay current on payer policy changes and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies This job will start out working in Harrodsburg, KY but will be fully remote once training is completed.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED 1
year Revenue Cycle experience preferred 1
year experience with Behavioral Health preferred 2

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
