This is a micro business with a team of 4-6, so being able to wear many hats and being flexible is very important.
We are actively hiring as of 8/15/23.
We are a small group of people, we have a friendly and good team environment.
Everyday you will be responsible for different types of tasks which makes the job interesting.
We hand dye yarn for people who knit.
We actually do the dyeing ourselves, so the job is colorful! But, also is manual labor.
The business is 100% online, we have no walk-in traffic.
The position we're hiring for needs to be proficient at using a computer, spreadsheets, good communication skills both written and verbal.
Emailing customers, processing orders within a timely manner.
This person will also need to be willing to do physical labor.
We dye yarn on a daily basis.
If you can follow a basic chocolate chip cookie recipe you can dye yarn.
Dyeing and specific shipping software will be taught on the job, no experience needed for those aspects of the job.

Managing the daily flow and team tasks Printing orders through shipping software Basic email-based customer service Updating listings for our online store Preparing orders for shipments Inventory and counting Secondary Work
Responsibilities:
Washing dyeing tools and equipment Soaking yarn, rinsing, spinning to dry then hanging it to finish drying Dyeing yarn to make it colorful Preparing yarn for presentation to customers Tagging products Cleaning work area daily:
sweep, mop, wipe down and disinfect surfaces.
Qualifications:
Attention to detail Team player Hard working, good attitude Reliable Ability and willingness to work with your hands is a must.
Ability to prioritize and multitask.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to do basic math (addition/subtraction) Paid every 2 weeks as a contractor.
The work week is Tuesday - Thursday 9:
00am - 6:
00pm, Friday 9am - 1pm.
Occasionally we will work a full day on Friday, but these are rare circumstances.
The first interview will be conducted through video call.
