Isaiah House is seeking a full-time Grant Writer/Administrator with current skills and the ability to seek and identify various grant opportunities that match funding requirements for our addiction recovery non-profit organization.
This individual will be tasked with having an up-to-date knowledge of the short-term and long-term recovery programs and experience in managing multiple grant reporting and management duties.
Guided by Isaiah House's mission, the Grant Writer/Administrator will identify various funding opportunities that fit within the compliance, culture, strategic plan, and meet current funding needs.
Identifies grant opportunities to include:
Seek new avenues for funding - public and private.
Collaborates with to detect grant funding opportunities to meet the needs of Isaiah House.
Secures federal, state, local and private grants to support Isaiah House's projects.
Works closely with operational departments to identify and match funding needs with current or planned planned projects.
Works closely with staff in developing and transforming ideas into grant proposals.
Draft grant proposals and projects which will include:
Writes, edits, submits, and manages coherent, organized, and compelling proposals.
Increases Isaiah House's grant writing capacity.
Develops interdepartmental projects for grant opportunities.
Monitors grant programs' progress and reporting requirements:
Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders regarding grant administration.
Works closely with grant program directors to ensure compliance and timeline expectations.
Manages pre- and post-award administration and accounting of grants.
Submit grant reports and renewals according to guidelines.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in successfully researching, writing, and managing seven-figure grants; addiction recovery and non-profit experience a plus.
AGWA (American Grant Writers Association) or GPA (Grant Professionals Association) certification preferred.
Excellent administrative, decision-making, and organizational skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and other related software.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
