Scope of Position: o Provides subject matter expertise in controls engineering that improves product, process and/or equipment performance (cost, quality and service) and/or advances the innovation process to enable the delivery of new products. Provide electrical and software solutions for increased process selects, increased material utilization, decreased costs, and improvement to product quality by planning, organizing and implementing projects. The major focus for this position is on electrical and controls equipment design and build, software design, implementation and testing for equipment engineered for specific processes, specifications for control systems for new equipment engineered for specific processes as well as upgrades to improve existing equipment performance as well as processes. Day to Day Responsibilities: o Directly manage a junior electrical engineer o Writing and programming code for Allen Bradley PLC o Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting testing; applying knowledge of electricity and materials o Designs electrical and control systems by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials control and software systems by designing and modifying equipment for manufacturing various products; soliciting observations from operators o Assures product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities o Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends o Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests. o Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting repair service o Completes projects by training and guiding technicians or working with equipment engineers o Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies o Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed   Travel Requirements (please note if international): o Average of 50% travel, both domestic and international travel.   Required Education: o Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering OR Computer / Software Engineering or equivalent technical degree with focus on Controls, Electrical and Software Engineering   Required Years and Area of Experience: o 2 - 5 years of relevant control engineering experience (Allen Bradley PLC experiencepreferred)   Required Skills (General): o Integration of PLC controls systems o Ability to write and program software (HMI and ladder logic) o Broad manufacturing and engineering experience o Ability to design and run tests to ensure controls and software meet specifications o Project leadership (scope to implementation) o Track record of delivering results. o Attention to detail o Strong communication skills and ability to work across various divisions, groups and cultures   Desired Skills: o Experience with Allen Bradley systems o Capable of electronics troubleshooting o Familiar with electronic testing design o Project management o Quality focused o Capable of analyzing information o Emphasizing excellence o Six Sigma certification and/or Lean manufacturing knowledge and experience

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
