Electrification Hardware Engineer I

General Responsibilities:
Plans and manages activities for multiple projects to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished within a prescribed time frame by performing any combination of all essential duties and responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this position is to support the development of automotive embedded electronic control unit hardware. The duties include supporting analog and digital circuit design through analysis and simulation, EMC design including the support for PCB layout. EMC test plan development, troubleshooting EMC anomalies, product specification negotiation, hardware-in-the-loop testing, supporting the testing of prototypes, creating EOL tester specifications and following the development through to production. In addition, the position will be responsible for supporting the root cause analysis of modules returned by the customer during the development stage.
The candidate will be responsible for working with customer engineers to ensure that program goals are met, schedules are maintained, and problems encountered during the development process are satisfactorily resolved. The candidate will need to work with other project team members and design engineers to resolve issues related to the design of the electronic hardware. The candidate will occasionally need to travel to multiple global locations to support project development.
The ideal candidate will:
Understanding of analog and digital circuits as applied to automotive control systems.
Understanding engineering analysis methods and interpreting the results to convey this information to others.
Proficient in setting up and using laboratory test equipment such as multi-meters, scopes, logic analyzer, power analyzer.
Critical thinking and dealing with complex problems to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions and conclusions.
Excellent speaking and writing skills to convey information efficiently and effectively.
Familiar with automotive component and vehicle test procedures, including EMI/EMC testing;
Experience creating WCAs and working with PSPICE or Saber Modeling
Be able to coordinate program activities with team members at remote sites;
Embedded H/W design experience for automotive applications;
Additionally, the ability to work independently with minimal direction is required as are strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with PCs and application software, such as MS Office tools is also required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
